Vedantolog AI as an ecosystem was created — and develops — in an entirely different way.

We are not building an agent, or a set of agents, and not merely our own artificial-intelligence model. We are building a self-developing ecosystem of Vedic knowledge in which researchers, teachers, experts, readers of Vedic literature, engineers, spiritual teachers and mentors from all over the world work together — along with the AI models themselves, which we train by joint effort and host locally on our own server hardware.

We see artificial intelligence not as a finished product but as an instrument for preserving and transmitting knowledge. One of the project's key directions is a system of continuous knowledge development. Materials created and published through the Vedantolog ecosystem pass moderation and expert review. Once validated they may be used, and they become the foundation for the growth of the whole ecosystem:

to expand the knowledge base of the models themselves; to improve intelligent search; to advance big-data and analytics systems; to build training datasets; and to develop specialised language models whose essence is absolute truth rather than all the information in the world.

Vedantolog AI therefore develops not by the work of engineers but, first and foremost, through the collective contribution of the entire community.

At the core of the whole ecosystem lies one of the largest digital corpora of Vedic knowledge in the world's languages. All books and commentaries of Śrīla A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda; letters and archival materials; the works of the ācāryas of the past; contemporary research and educational materials; expert-verified community publications, and much more.

Our task is to ensure the most accurate citation, correct interpretation and transparent handling of sources.

Purity of knowledge and expert validation. We strive to preserve the authenticity of the Vedic tradition, and so the key principle of the project is expert verification of knowledge. Vedantolog AI does not create a new philosophy and does not offer spiritual doctrines of its own.

The task of the system is to help a person find, study and understand the Vedic heritage that already exists, through verified sources and the accumulated experience of the community.

Technological independence. The project's entire infrastructure runs on our own servers under the control of an independent community.

We are moving step by step towards a fully autonomous research platform that includes: our own computing infrastructure; our own knowledge bases; our own machine-learning models; and our own APIs for integrating external projects.

This allows the project to stay independent and to follow the interests of the community rather than those of commercial corporations.
